隱私權政策
Last updated: April 2026
Welcome to enGo Smart Home, the enGo Smart Home App and enGo Shop (together, the “Service”). So that you can use the Service’s features and information with confidence, this policy explains how we protect your privacy and safeguard your rights. Please read it carefully.
Article 1 — Scope of this Policy
This policy covers how the Service handles the personally identifiable information collected when you use it. It does not apply to websites linked from the Service, nor to personnel not engaged or managed by us.
Article 2 — Collection of Personal Data
We collect personally identifiable information when you register an account, browse our pages, or take part in activities on our site, and we may also obtain your personal data from third-party partners. Registration requires your name, telephone number and email address. Once you have registered and signed in to the Service, we hold that personal data.
Purpose of collection: we collect personal data in order to provide customer service, e-commerce platform services and technical maintenance; to perform statutory or contractual obligations; to protect the rights of the parties and of consumers; and for marketing purposes.
When you use the Service, our systems record related data and activity, including your name, email address, address, the IP address used to connect, session duration, and browsing and click records. If you choose to buy or sell goods through our system, we collect behavioural data such as the goods purchased and how long they are used. That data is used to analyse traffic patterns and manage inventory, and is not directed at identifying any particular individual.
Article 3 — Use of Personal Data
Personal data we collect from users is for our internal use only and is subject to a perpetual duty of confidentiality. We will not provide your personal data to any third party, except where:
- it is necessary in order to deliver a service or perform a contractual obligation;
- you have authorised us to do so in order to supply a product or service you requested;
- you have consented to the disclosure;
- we are ordered or required to do so by a judicial or competent authority; or
- the personal data is not confidential information, namely where it:
- was already public at the time of disclosure, or became public afterwards through no fault of the receiving party;
- can be shown to have been lawfully held or known before the other party disclosed it;
- was obtained or learned, before or after the fact and by lawful means, from a third party entitled to disclose it and under no duty of confidentiality; or
- has been agreed in writing by the other party not to be confidential information (though it must be treated as confidential until that written agreement is received).
We may, to the extent necessary, disclose confidential information received from a member to our directors, supervisors, employees, affiliates, and lawyers or others who are bound by a duty of confidentiality as a matter of law, as well as to third parties for whom the member’s written consent has been obtained. In each case the recipient must be placed under a duty of confidentiality equivalent to that in this agreement.
Article 4 — Third-Party Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers in order to offer a wider range of services. For example, third-party payment services, credit card acquiring services and logistics and delivery for this site may be provided by third parties, who may serve our members at our request. In certain cases a third-party service provider will ask you for your personal data directly, and it is your decision whether to provide it.
Article 5 — Minors
Users under the age of 20 may use the Service only with the consent of their legal representative. Our Terms of Service also set out how member identity is determined. We do not permit minors to register or use the Service without their legal representative’s consent, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Article 6 — Data Protection
The servers hosting the Service’s website and app are protected by firewalls, anti-virus systems and other information-security equipment and necessary safeguards, in order to protect the site and your personal data. We apply strict protective measures: only authorised personnel may access your personal data, and all personnel involved have signed confidentiality agreements. Any breach of those obligations is subject to legal sanction.
Where business needs require us to engage another organisation to provide services, we likewise require it to observe strict confidentiality obligations and carry out the inspections necessary to confirm that it does so.
Article 7 — External Links
The Service provides links to other websites, which you may follow from within the Service. This privacy policy does not apply to those linked sites; please refer to the privacy policy of the site concerned.
Article 8 — Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties
The Service will never provide, exchange, rent or sell any of your personal data to any other individual, organisation, private enterprise or public agency, except where there is a legal basis or contractual obligation to do so.
The exceptions referred to above include, but are not limited to, where:
- you have given written consent;
- it is expressly provided for by law;
- it is necessary to avert danger to your life, body, freedom or property;
- it is necessary for statistical or academic research in the public interest carried out with a public agency or academic research institution, and the data has been processed by the provider or is disclosed in a manner from which no specific individual can be identified;
- your use of the Service breaches the Terms of Service, or may damage or obstruct the rights of the site or of other users, or cause loss to any person, and the site’s administrators determine after analysis that disclosing your personal data is necessary in order to identify or contact you or to take legal action;
- it is to your benefit; or
- we engage a contractor to help collect, process or use your personal data, in which case we will properly supervise and manage that contractor.
Article 9 — Use of Cookies
In order to provide you with the best service, the Service places and reads our cookies on your computer. If you do not wish to accept cookies, you may set the privacy level in your browser to high and refuse them; note that some features of the Service may then not work properly.
Article 10 — Your Rights
Under Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights in respect of the personal data we hold, and may exercise them against us:
- to enquire about or request to review your personal data;
- to request a copy;
- to request that your personal data be supplemented or corrected;
- to request that we cease collecting, processing or using your personal data; and
- to request that your personal data be deleted.
To exercise these rights, please follow our application procedure; you may submit a request through the contact details below.

This privacy policy may be amended from time to time as required, and the amended terms will be published on this website. We recommend that you review this policy periodically. Amended terms take effect automatically upon publication.
