1. Acknowledgement and Acceptance
All users of the Service (“users” or “you”) should read these Terms carefully in order to protect their own rights. By activating and using the Service you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to all of these Terms and to any subsequent amendments, and to be aware of and consent to the Company and its affiliates collecting, using and processing your household details and any other personal data you agree to provide, including but not limited to your name, gender, contact telephone number, email address and date of birth.
By activating and using the Service you are also deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the supplementary terms applying to each of the services we provide (see Article 11). Where these Terms conflict with supplementary terms specific to a service, the supplementary terms for that service prevail. If any particular provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions are unaffected.
By activating and using the Service you agree that the Service may send you service-related or commercial information for your reference, including but not limited to sharing offers from the Company and its partners by mobile push notification or other means from time to time, according to residents’ needs. The Service may add to, modify or discontinue services as business develops and consumer needs change.
If you are a minor under the age of 20, you must ask your legal representative (parent) or guardian to read these Terms and obtain their consent before using the Service. By activating and using the Service, your parent or guardian is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to all of these Terms and any subsequent amendments.
Where these Terms, or supplementary terms or product rules applying to part of the Service, do not address a matter, the Company reserves the right to retain, amend, suspend and interpret their content. Amendments will be published within enGo Smart Home and users will not be notified individually. We recommend that you review these Terms and any applicable supplementary terms or product rules periodically. Amended agreements and rules take effect automatically upon publication and become part of this agreement without further notice or consent. If you continue to use the Service after an amendment, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted it. If you do not agree to the manner in which these Terms may be amended or updated, or do not accept any other provision of these Terms, you should stop using the Service immediately.
You agree that electronic documents constitute a valid means of communication with the Company.
2. User Obligations and Responsibilities
So that we can provide you with a complete and convenient community service, you must provide accurate household and personal details as prompted when registering. If those details change, you should update the information held by the Service promptly in order to protect your rights. If you provide any incorrect or untrue information, you bear any resulting loss, and the Company may suspend or delete your account without prior notice and refuse to allow you to continue using all or part of the Service.
If the personal data you provide is duplicated, uses another person’s name without authority, offends public order or morals, risks infringing another person’s name rights, company name, trade marks or other intellectual property rights, risks misleading others, may otherwise breach the law, or undermines the purpose of the Service, the Company may require you to correct it to accurate, lawful and appropriate information, or may suspend or delete your account and refuse to allow you to continue using all or part of the Service. You bear sole civil and criminal liability.
3. Security of Personal Data
Before using the Service you should read the Service’s Privacy Policy carefully. You acknowledge and agree that by using the Service you consent to the Company collecting, processing and using your personal data in accordance with that policy.
The purpose of the information you provide is to improve the accuracy of member records and to deliver a better service and better offers. The Service complies with the personal data protection laws of the Republic of China. Except where illegality, infringement or breach of these Terms may be involved, where data is provided to partner suppliers in order to deliver customer service, or where you have consented, this information will be used by the Company only within the scope of this statement, and will never be arbitrarily disclosed, sold, exchanged or rented to any third party, organisation or group. If you do not agree to the above use of personal data, you will not be able to enjoy the benefits and offers provided by the Company or by the Company together with third parties. Having consented to the collection of the above information, you may still apply to the Company to withdraw that consent.
4. Compliance with Service Rules and the Law
By using the Service, you agree not only to these Terms but also to be bound by all rules of the Company and its affiliates applying to users and by the relevant laws and regulations. You represent and warrant that you will not use the Service to infringe the rights of others or to act unlawfully, including but not limited to:
- publishing or transmitting any defamatory, insulting, threatening, abusive, indecent, obscene or untrue text, images or files of any kind, or any that offend public order or morals or are otherwise unlawful;
- infringing or damaging the reputation, privacy, trade secrets, trade marks, copyright, patents, other intellectual property rights or other rights of the Company or of any other person;

If you breach these Terms, or appear likely to, the Company may suspend or delete your account without prior notice. The parties agree that from the moment an account is suspended or deleted under this article, the user’s use of that account and of the Service also terminates.

- You will not breach (or assist or induce others to breach) these Terms, the Company’s Terms of Service or its Privacy Policy.
- You will not impersonate anyone or provide false information.
- You will not engage in any unlawful, misleading or fraudulent conduct, and all conduct for unlawful or unauthorised purposes is prohibited.
- You will not attempt to create accounts, or access or collect information, by unauthorised means.
- You will not sell, license or purchase any account, or any data obtained from the Company or its services.
enGo Smart Home will review such matters carefully, remove the content concerned or disable offending accounts, and may add to, modify or terminate a user’s rights.
6. The Licence You Grant Us
The Company does not own the content you provide, but you grant us a licence to use it.
When you share, post or upload content protected by intellectual property rights (such as text, documents, images or photographs) on our services or related platforms, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide licence to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display and translate your content, and to create derivative works from it. This licence ends when you delete the content from our systems.
7. Disclaimer
The Company is not liable for any direct or indirect damage or loss to a user’s equipment arising from downloading, installing or using services other than ours on equipment we supply. Where interruption or failure of the system caused by system, network or other problems results in inconvenience, data loss, error or other financial loss to users, the Company will restore normal service as quickly as possible, and save where caused by the Company’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company bears no liability to compensate.
The Company reserves the right to investigate, temporarily close or permanently cancel your personal use of the Service at any time. Where circumstances change, the Company may suspend or terminate all or part of the Service, and users may not object or claim any compensation.
8. Notice Regarding Collection of Personal Data
During the period of the Service, the Company and its affiliates collect, process and use all personal data provided by the user, including but not limited to that entered by the user, within the scope of the specific purposes reasonably connected with “consumer and customer management and service”, so that we can provide the Service and send information relating to it. If the information provided is incomplete or incorrect, we will be unable to provide the full service.
Users may, under the Personal Data Protection Act and related laws, request that the Company allow them to enquire about, review, obtain a copy of, supplement or correct their personal data, or that it cease collecting, processing or using it, or delete it. Applications follow the Company’s procedures. On beginning to use the Service, a user is deemed to have understood and agreed to the lawful use of their personal data by the Company, its affiliates and the Service.
9. Intellectual Property
The patents, copyright, trade marks, trade secrets, know-how and other intellectual property rights in the software, programs and content used or provided on the Service and related websites or applications (including but not limited to text, descriptions, drawings, images, graphics, files, page design, and site planning and arrangement) belong to the Company, its affiliates or other rights holders. Without the prior written authorisation of the rights holder you may not reproduce, publicly transmit, publicly broadcast, publicly perform, publicly screen, adapt, edit, rent, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise use them. In the event of breach, you bear sole legal liability, and if the breach causes damage or loss to the Company, its affiliates or other rights holders, the Company may claim damages from you.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The interpretation and application of these Terms is governed by the laws of the Republic of China.
Users agree to resolve any dispute with the Company arising from use of the Service in good faith. Should litigation prove necessary, the parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance.
11. Supplementary Service Terms
(1) The enGo Smart Home app
Through the enGo Smart Home app you can link smart devices to work together. The service includes smart device management, scene linkage and analytical reports. These features may be optimised or modified as user needs change or at the sole discretion of the service provider, and may be temporarily suspended for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
Because of platform and device compatibility limits, you may use the licensed software only on authorised system platforms and devices. Installing the licensed software on other equipment may damage your hardware or software functionality.
enGo Smart Home may change, upgrade or migrate the software and its features from time to time, and may add new features or services. Unless a separate agreement applies, you remain licensed for such new features and services under this agreement.
You are responsible for the accuracy, reliability, completeness and legality of the data you enter and for the lawfulness of how you obtained it, and you should back up your data regularly. You bear all risk of damage to or loss of that data.
You should keep your account and password secure. If you discover a security risk to your account (including but not limited to disclosure of your password), you should notify enGo Smart Home promptly and we will help you take appropriate measures. Otherwise you are solely responsible and liable for all activity under your account.
(2) The enGo control tablet and supplied equipment
The enGo control tablet is the designated device for the various application services we provide. Because of platform and device compatibility limits, you may use our service software only on an authorised enGo control tablet. Installing the licensed software on other equipment may damage your hardware or software functionality.
Inspection period and warranty
Within 7 days of purchase and signing for the goods, you have the 7-day inspection period for online transactions provided for by the Consumer Protection Act. If you have any objection to the product during that period you may return it. If you did not purchase directly from the Company but obtained the goods through another channel, the 7-day inspection period does not apply.
The inspection period is not a trial period. Returned goods must be in new condition; if the returns centre determines that damage was caused by the user, a refurbishment fee will be charged. When applying for a return, please place the complete product, including accessories, manual and packaging box, inside the original outer carton so that the return can be processed. If you do not return the complete product (accessories, manual and packaging box), the missing items will be charged for.
A one-year warranty is provided from the date of purchase. Repairs to some components are carried out by replacement with spare units, so a repaired product or part may not be the same unit that was sent in. This warranty applies within Taiwan only.
For full return and warranty rules, please see our Return Policy.
Excluded from warranty even within the warranty period
- the product serial number does not match the warranty card, or the serial number is illegible, altered or torn off;
- damage caused by the consumer’s improper use contrary to the user manual or instructions, including crushing, dropping, damp, immersion, exposure to rain, ingress of foreign objects or loss of components;
- scratches or wear to the casing or to accessible parts arising from normal use;
- damage caused by use of a non-original battery, or by battery leakage;
- damage caused by natural disaster or other force majeure;
- faults or damage arising from disassembly or repair by personnel not authorised by the Company, from self-disassembly, modification or alteration of specifications, or from the use of non-original accessories;
- operating problems or faults caused by software installation and configuration or by computer viruses; or
- poor reception caused by problems with services provided by network or telecommunications operators.
Where equipment is supplied by the Company for the purposes of a business arrangement, you are responsible for keeping it in good condition. If the equipment is subsequently damaged, a compensation charge of NT$10,000 applies.
(3) The enGo Shop
General member terms
You agree and acknowledge that, in addition to these Terms, the information presented on product pages and on the pages forming part of the ordering process — including transaction conditions, restrictions and descriptions — also forms part of the contract.
Purchases you make in the enGo Shop are ordered through the enGo Shop. However, the information you view or the purchase you make may be a service provided by a third-party supplier. In that case you are ordering from, or engaging as a buying agent, that third party, who is responsible for performance according to the transaction conditions it sets. The enGo Shop provides only marketing services, links, payment collection or e-commerce platform information processing services.
Once you complete the ordering process in the enGo Shop in the manner, on the conditions and by the process set out on the page, you are agreeing to order that product or service on these Terms and on the terms, transaction conditions or restrictions stated on the relevant pages. If details you have provided, such as address or telephone number, change, you should notify the enGo Shop promptly so that it can act accordingly. You may not deny an order or refuse payment on the ground that the details do not match.
After you complete the online ordering process, the system automatically sends you a notice by email or other means. That notice confirms only that the system has received your order; it does not mean the transaction is complete or a contract has been formed. The enGo Shop reserves the right to decide whether to accept your order. If the enGo Shop confirms the transaction conditions are correct, the goods ordered are in stock or the service ordered can be provided, and there is no other reason it cannot accept the order, it will instruct the partner supplier to ship and you can check the status on the site. If the transaction conditions are incorrect, the goods are out of stock, the service cannot be provided, or there is another reason the enGo Shop cannot accept the order, it may decline it.
You understand and agree that although the enGo Shop endeavours to keep information accurate, it does not warrant that all information appearing on its pages or in related messages is complete, correct or current. Maximum order quantities for particular goods or services are as stated on the relevant product page and on the pages forming part of the ordering process; orders above that limit will be shipped only up to the maximum.
If the specification, image, description, price or transaction conditions of a product or service are incorrect, the enGo Shop may decline your order after you have completed the ordering process.
Shipping charges for the goods or services you order, and who bears them, are as stated on the relevant pages. You may choose the delivery location and method for your order in the manner and subject to the conditions and restrictions stated on the relevant product page and ordering pages. If goods or services you order cannot be delivered and you cannot be contacted, the enGo Shop will cancel the order and refund any payment in full.
You agree that electronic documents are the means of expression for all online purchases you make in the enGo Shop and for matters relating to those transactions. The enGo Shop’s systems automatically record the related electronic transaction data, and you can look up your transaction records yourself after signing in. If you find a record is incorrect you should notify customer service immediately so it can be corrected. If you use an electronic invoice carrier, please confirm your details are correct before placing an order; if details are incorrect and you do not give timely notice so they can be corrected, you bear the resulting responsibility.
For consumer complaints or disputes, you may sign in and submit a complaint or dispute through the mechanism, procedure and contact details set out in the online customer service system, and enGo Shop staff will assist you as quickly as possible.
Paid membership
Users may purchase VIP paid membership in the enGo Shop and, according to the plan purchased, enjoy digital services and offers reserved for subscribing members. Plan details are as stated on the purchase page.
Purchasing a subscription indicates the user’s agreement to the enGo Smart Home app terms of service and privacy policy. Each purchase of VIP paid membership (including each individual subscription or content item ordered) forms a separate contract on those terms. On completing a subscription purchase, the user agrees that the subscription terms are a binding contract.
Users and VIP paid members understand and agree that lifestyle services or goods offered in the enGo Shop are not included in the subscription unless stated in the plan details.
Purchase, cancellation and free trials of VIP paid membership:
- Purchase: enGo Shop users may purchase paid membership using a payment method recognised as valid by, and linked to, the mobile device platform.
- Cancellation: subscribing members can view and manage the status of their VIP paid membership through the account linked to the mobile device platform. In accordance with that platform’s rules, a paid member who cancels retains access for the remainder of the current subscription period, until the next period begins, and no refund is given for the remaining days of the current period.
- Free trial: the Company may offer a free trial to members purchasing for the first time. Where a subscription includes a free trial, the paid member has free access to the full subscription content of the plan during the trial period.
Community group-buying terms
Any enGo Shop member may apply to become a community group-buying leader (a “leader”) and sell the goods and services offered by the shop to residents within the geographic area the enGo Shop permits them to operate in.
The enGo Shop agrees to license product trade marks and related patent, testing and other certification documents to the leader for planning purposes, for use in sales during the period of cooperation only, and warrants that the materials provided are true and accurate. The leader may not use them for any purpose outside that period.
The leader is responsible for promoting shop products during the promotional period and for sharing group-buying promotional links with enGo Smart Home users to direct them to the shop. A leader’s income is a commission on sales of shop products following their day-to-day promotion; the specific commission for each product is as set out on the enGo Shop platform. Leaders can review the status of their referred orders and their income through the relevant features in the shop’s Member Centre.
For orders generated through a leader’s group-buying promotion, the leader agrees that the enGo Shop will send the goods for that order to the collection point the leader designates (the address the leader registers in the shop system), and that the leader will notify consumers to collect them.
Leaders must ensure that goods received for delivery are stored hygienically, safely and appropriately. If goods to be delivered are damaged, lost, missing or spoiled because of the leader or other external causes, the enGo Shop may deduct the amount from the leader’s performance deposit or pending withdrawal balance, and the leader must compensate in full for any shortfall. In serious cases the enGo Shop may terminate the contract immediately.
Leaders must notify consumers to collect goods delivered to the collection point on the same day, and must update the order status on the shop platform that day once collection is complete. If a leader cannot make goods available for collection that day, they must store them properly and notify consumers at least one day in advance; otherwise the leader bears any resulting loss.
Payment terms: the parties agree that after shipping is complete the leader may look up the shipping reconciliation statement on the platform. Once both parties confirm it is correct, the leader provides a copy of their identity card to the enGo Shop for tax reporting in accordance with the agreed profit-sharing terms, and may then use “request withdrawal” on the shop platform. The minimum withdrawal is NT$1,000. On settlement, the enGo Shop deducts a payment processing fee of 0.6% and remits the balance to the leader’s nominated account on the 5th of the following month.
